Is fasting a better alternative to all diets for weight lose? Is fasting a best method for weight lose?
According to my personal opinion fasting is definitely a good method for weight lose. The main reason behind this is that fasting does not glorifies extreme calorie restriction. Rather its a simply method where a person abstains him/herself from food, creating a natural calorie deficit.
24 hours of fast once in week is a good way for weight lose. But a prolonged fast can lead to some serious health problems. This is mainly because prolonged fasting depletes the level of proteins, calcium, potassium, sodium and phosphorous in the body. As shared by the fellow member occassional fasting is effective in weight lose but alongwith fasting one need to do regular exercise.
Fasting to lose weight is unhealthy and can be dangerous too to your health. I feel the best method to lose weight is to follow a healthy and well balanced diet and do regular exercise.
