   Domestic abuse is mainly caused due to a dominating partner, who loses control over his/her emotions. Sometimes, domestic abuse is due to alcoholism, drug addiction etc. Counseling, rehabilitation and help from friends can control domestic abuse

   Incidents of domestic abuse take place when there is combination of a domineering and submissive partners.

   The dominating partner lashes out his/her anger, while the submissive partner is too fearful to deal with the situation. In such cases, the victim should not hesitate to ask help from family, friends etc.
