I sometimes dream about the past events. What is the reason behind these dreams?

    According to Sigmund Freud, dreams are a way of dealing with issues which are painful, bizarre or difficult to confront. Maybe this is the reason many people dream about the past events. However, no one knows the real explanation for dreams.
